 Easy to useVery easy to use. I needed to grab a soundbite from a long mp3 file. I was able to do this in about five minutes – very good, especially when you realize UI had never even seen Wavepad before.

Education CoordinatorI was preparing a program where I had to edit some songs for educational purposes. I happend upon WavePad and it was awesome. It was easy to use and I was able to complete my project in record time. I can not thank the developers of this software enough. Because I am a teacher I do not have tremendous financial resources at my fingertips. This software did exactly what I needed it to do!!!

Needed a quick edit, got it doneI wanted to patch a couple of sounds together and found this multiple window software to be just the ticket. Quick and easy cut and paste, nice trim feature, it works fine for little jobs.

.WMA filesI downloaded Wavepad Audio Editor to trim some voice recordings I have made on a digital voice recorder. Unfortunately, the software didn't recognize the file type, even though it is a .WMA file. None of my software, including Adobe Soundbooth can open the files I record.
